This Main Course Healthy Rajama Recipe is  creamy and tangy which makes it more tasty and yummy . Now lets directly come on the recipe:

Cooking time : 1 hour(hardly)
Serving: 5 person

INGREDIENTS for healthy rajma recipe:-

Rajama in Pressure Cooker:

  • 2 Cup Rajma (any kind)
  • Big bowl full of Water
  • Pressure cooker
Rajama Masala Gravy:

  • 4 large onions(pyaaz)
  • 4 medium tomatoes(tamatar)
  • 5 large green chilles( hari mirchi)
  • 4-5 medium garlic(lehsun) + 2-3 inch ginger(adrak)
  • 1tbsp coriander powder(dhania powder)
  • 1tbsp chilli powder(lal mirch)
  • 1tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
  • 2packets of maggi masala
  • Salt as required
HOW TO MAKE delicious healthy rajama recipe:-

There are two ways to make rajama in pressure cooker: 

FIRST:- If  immedietely you got a plan to eat rajama than what have to do is-
  • Switch on the gas on full flame
  • Take a pressure cooker and fill 1/4 of it with normal water ,when boiled 
  • Add 2tbsp salt , 1 tbsp haldi (turmeric powder) and lastly  rajama (washed) in it .
  • Then  close it with lid .
  • After coming 3-4 whistles switch off the gas.
  • Again add 5-6 cups of  normal water in pressure cooker and close it with lid.
  • And after 45 min switch off the gas.
SECOND:-  If  already you have a plan of making this yummy rajama than what you have                     to do is-

  •  Take a big bowl and add rajama in it and rest it overnight (or 6-7 hrs) by closing it with a plate.
  •  Now same process starts, take pressure cooker filled half of of it with water and after boiling , add 2tbsp salt , 1 tbsp haldi (turmeric powder)and rajama (washed and soacked) in it . Close it with lid.
  • After 45 min switch off the gas.  

Now Side by side make the Rajama's Masala.....

Making Healthy Rajama Recipe:
  1. First simply take a grinder , add Onions + Tomatoes + Chillies + Garlic + Ginger and grind it finely.
  2. Now switch on the gas , take pan , add oil on high flame after this add  cumin and the masala that we have done in first step.
  3. Now after masala got brownish in colour, add all the spices powder ( salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and maggi masala).
  4. After saute and stir the masala lastly add 1/2 glass of water and switch the gas to medium flame and after 10 min when the oil will come on the outer or upper part switch off the gas.
  5. Now masala is ready and add this in the rajama and not forget to add cream.
  6. Now taste this yummy and creamy rajama.
